The Scriblerian Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Hello, i am a new user as you no doubt have already noticed. Anyway, i registed, and then got on the forums and started looking for a place to introduce myself, and finally realized there isn't a forum for that. I suggest that there be one. I have found it a very nice way for people to start to feel a little more comfortable around the forum quicker, and it is a nice feature. Thank you for your time, and i eagerly wait for you reply.
Thrik Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Well each community on LucasForums is its own thing really, almost as if they were separate forums. Many people stick to just one forum (eg: Monkey Island Discussion) and never venture elsewhere, and most of the people who use the Star Wars forums pretty much never visit those under the general titles column. As such, it's best to introduce yourself in specific communities. I guess some of the more popular ones could have an introduction forum, but you'd have to post in their feedback forum or something.
Darth333 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I see you have already found the "Getting to know each other" thread in Ahto Welcome to the forums
Niner_777 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Welcome to LF. The Communal Discussion forum is pretty general. You could post there if you want.
The Scriblerian Posted August 23, 2006 Author Posted August 23, 2006 Alright. I see that someone changed this one, that was nice of you. Anyways, i'll see you guys around. Thanks.
