Malatar Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Does anyone know where I could download Achilles' Game Balance Mod? His website links are all gone... Thanks in advance. Malatar
EnderWiggin Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 It works for me.... http://www.freewebs.com/achilles01/miscellaneous.htm and then the actual link is the fourth one on the page. Hope this helps... _EW_
Malatar Posted October 1, 2006 Author Posted October 1, 2006 Yeah, try to click on the link. It doesn't work.
Malatar Posted October 1, 2006 Author Posted October 1, 2006 Doesn't anyone still use Achilles' Mod? If they do, could they either email it to me or upload it to LucasFiles where it would be readily available please? RedHawke Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Sorry, but the page works fine here, so I'm willing to bet the issue is on your end. Likely your browser's settings aren't allowing you to see the site, perhaps you blocked freewebs at some point?
Arátoeldar Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Sorry, but the page works fine here, so I'm willing to bet the issue is on your end. Likely your browser's settings aren't allowing you to see the site, perhaps you blocked freewebs at some point? Please know what you are talking about before you post. While the page that has all of the Download links and Readme works fine. None of the actual links work. http://www.freewebz.com/notfound.htm I have already emailed several people this mod which I do not mind. However I do find every irritating is the fact that I PMed him a week ago about his website problem. Yet he has done nothing to correcting the problem. He has not found a new host for his website. Nor has he uploaded his mod to File Front or PCGM.
RedHawke Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Please know what you are talking about before you post. No need to be rude...
Arátoeldar Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 No need to be rude... Sorry I did not mean to come across rudely. One of my pet peeves is for someone to assume that something is working correctly without actually checking it out for themselves.
RedHawke Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 One of my pet peeves is for someone to assume that something is working correctly without actually checking it out for themselves. Well unfortunately in this case the original poster wasn't very clear... Does anyone know where I could download Achilles' Game Balance Mod? His website links are all gone... ~and~ Yeah, try to click on the link. It doesn't work. Nowhere here does he elaborate on just what link he is referring to? Now saying Achilles Websites Download Links aren't working might have been more helpful... it isn't just me as EnderWiggin assumed the same thing.

Now saying Achilles Websites Download Links aren't working might have been more helpful... it isn't just me as EnderWiggin assumed the same thing. Again I apologize for being rude. Yes the OP should have been clearer in his post. Also EnderWiggin should not have assumed that just because the page with the links works that the actual links worked too. When people aren't clear in the first place then assumption is all we have to work with. That's what I'm trying to say. But this is off-topic so I edit it here. And no worries! -RH
EnderWiggin Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Please know what you are talking about before you post. While the page that has all of the Download links and Readme works fine. Yet he has done nothing to correcting the problem. He has not found a new host for his website. Nor has he uploaded his mod to File Front or PCGM. Ironically, it was working for me. I did test it, and I actually downloaded this mod the other day when I said that...Talking about assumptions, I would think that just because it doesnt work for you doesn't mean that it doesn't work for me. In a few minutes, I'll edit this post with a link to a screenie that shows that I downloaded it on Sep. 30. http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n137/Chamrajnagar/pwned.jpg Check my post where I say that it works for me -- It says 10:07 Eastern Time I believe. Look at the time of download -- 10:10 Eastern Time to my desktop. According to you, I couldn't have even faked this by using PCGM. RH is right. You don't have to be rude. And maybe Achilles hasn't seen your PM. Calm down. _EW_
jxxx22 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 strange, now its working for me. oO. maybe a hosting problem?
Darthspace Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I'm also eager to try this mod, but can't find it anywhere. Abovementioned link just complains: Freewebs Site Temporarily Frozen We are sorry, this site is unavailable because it has used up its monthly bandwidth. Please try back another time Patience may be a virtue, but not for us in the dark side...
Blinky Zero Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Hey folks, I'm trying to get ahold of Achilles' Balance Mod...but his site has hit its monthly bandwidth limit. Can someone either point me to a mirror of it (I've looked everywhere already with no success) or email it to me? Thanks in advance.
bgclevenger Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 howdy all. i'd also be interested in re-aquiring this mod if anyone can point me in the right direction. many thanks.
Darth333 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 The link has been posted above. The site normally works but has run out of bandwidth in November. Check back in a few days .
