Sith Crystals [Needing Help]

@ Thread - Yeah, I think I'll stick with the ritualization of producing synth-crystals. I might also create my own "sith like" world for the ritual to take place at.

For those of you who would like to know what my fic is about, it will be based on the rule of Darth Bane and the training of Darth Zannah. Though I have to correct my grammar, the prolouge is finished and I am about done with Chapter 1. As soon as Chapter 1 is finished I will be posting it.

No specific worlds are necessary, actually - all that's needed is the proper equipment. Luke, for instance, created a synth-crystal (they're preferred by but not exclusive to the Sith) in Ben Kenobi's house on Tatooine, of all places. That's not say a world strong in the dark side wouldn't be better, though; depending on what planet it is, there could be all sorts of advantages.

Good luck with your fic, by the way. :)

I think I have found the planet to use. Almas, but I'm not so sure. One thing I find wrong about the info on wookiepedia is:

Its moon Dorumaa was a terraformed satellite. One of Almas' moons also was known to be laden with unique crystals which the Jedi used in the creation of their lightsabers.

But over under Astrographical, it shows Alams has only 1 moon.

Does any one have an opinion or some better info about this planet?

Never fear, EU junkie Devon is here!

Few Sith use natural crystals. They actually make artifical ones, called synth-crystals. I can go into more depth if you'd like. :)

This is true. You could be tricky and say your character found a shard of the Kaiburr crystal ;)

if you really want good SW reference source, you need to use the databank on the official site or the unrivalled Unofficial Encyclopaedia at the force.net. You also have the highly knowledgable members of the EU forum right here at LFN....click the aurebesh banner in my sig :)
