Guest Dr._Threepwood
I would like to say that this Forums is a nicer place to post then others becasue they're so full of people. And I think most people here are nice except for the one with 4 idenites and others on the thinking about being banned list. ------------------ Please Sign my Guestbook

MtBlanc
Hey you two, no offense, but is it really that hard to use correct grammar and spelling? I mean you two are barely comprehensible.

the_xxxxx
Hey some people here (like me) aren't from UK or USA or another english country so that makes it harder to spell stuff correct. Wow, I think I've got everything right in this post
MegaMonkey
Some of us actually got the english writing-skill in school, like I did. And I still don't have a clue what some of harder words mean. Then I usually ask. But I can handle the grammar. I just read what I type, and check it. I don't push myself to post too quickly, as reading bad grammar ( be the writer english or not ), is annoying if it pasts the limit of possible reading. I hate to consentrate to the text, and then miss the whole message of the post. ------------------
MagnusB
But Dr._Threepwood is from the USA.
Blondbeard
Yes,he is Magnus but did you ever think he used to live somewhere else and moved to the U.S? I doubt it probably just another case of bad grammer(is it a or e?) ------------------

Natty
I think most people are always gonna have a typo or spelling mistakes or grammar errors, I was talking about it in chat yesterday with Heracio and Murta I think (oooops I can't remember who it was now, oh well you know who you are) and someone was saying that you can ususally tell where people come from coz of the way they spell, for example in australia they spell color with a "U" so it's spelt colour, though most often than not I leave the U out, coz most websites/books I read are American and thats how they spell it, just like I spell harbor without the "U" cept Australia (and England I think) spell it harbour. Well that was a few examples that were being talked about in chat LOL. Still I know some people who haven't being in Australia all that long and while their English may not be very good, their grammar is excellent Me thinks the problem today is no one ever uses a dictionary anymore, computers have spell check, so they just let it do all the spell checking for them without bothering to try and fix it themselves Well that's my 2cents worth ------------------ Victory? MagnusB
I must admit I never thought of that Blondebeard, cause his grammar is perfectly normal on the chatboard, where, incidentally, I am right now. and I feel lonely. Natty: I`m really not in the mood for reading long posts right now. And when I`m not focused on something, I do stupid things like writing F`s the wrong way and stuff like that. Now I had to edit the post because of grammar mistakes. Ihrony ihrony [This message has been edited by MagnusB (edited March 14, 2001).]
Guest Dr._Threepwood
I don't think in correct grammer all the time and I type exactly what I think word for word. above before of down about behind off during across below onto for after beneath on form along beside out in among between outside inside around beyond over into at but past like against by through near There no typos and this is a list of 36 prepositons. ------------------ Please Sign my Guestbook
