Char Ell
ITWire is reporting Sony got caught pimping it's PSP via a "fan" blog called AllIWantForXmasIsaPSP.com, even going so far as to post a YouTube video of one of the "fans" rapping about wanting his parents to buy him a PSP. Apparently some of the hip terms Sony used weren't in conformity with popular usage and visitors to the site voiced their skepticism, forcing Sony to confess the fact that the site was indeed sponsored by Sony. I went to the website and all it shows is a blank page now, heh-heh-heh.

Samuel Dravis
I hate corporate astroturfing. I wish it was considered deceptive trade practices so they could be sued for it. here's the deal::: Busted. Nailed. Snagged. As many of you have figured out (maybe our speech was a little too funky fresh???), Peter isn't a real hip-hop maven and this site was actually developed by Sony. Guess we were trying to be just a little too clever. From this point forward, we will just stick to making cool products, and use this site to give you nothing but the facts on the PSP. Sony Computer Entertainment America "Oops, you caught us deliberately lying to you! We're still friends, right?"
