"Very well Ben," Leia said, "I have an easy solution. Sorry about this N'Dul, but we have to be going now." Leia walked up to him and whacked him on the head with her lightsaber handle, knocking him out. Kyp levitated him out of the ship and on to a cot outside. "Now, any more questions?" Leia asked.

Ben's cold expessoin turned to Leia after she had attacked N'Dul, and shouted "FOOL! You are going to regret that more than I regret the loss of my hand a few minutes ago, just you wait." He paused for a moment and walked slowly and cautiously to Aurora and then embraced her, tightly. Over Aurora's sholder, he continued to address Leia, "One more thing, I am not finished yet. You may have comfronted your past, but mine is a bit more complex than yours. Do not interfeare." He then wispered to Aurora, "I love you Auroa, by the force... I love you."

Aurora buried her face in his shoulder, realizing how close she had come to losing him. "And I love you," she whispered back.

Arion turned to Leia. "Make sure Ben's family is on board. We're getting outta here. Oh, and make sure someone checks the Phoenix for any....unwelcome alterations." He looked at Aurora and Ben. "I'll be with you as soon as we take off." He then walked swiftly to the cockpit, and began to fire up the ship.

Leia frowned at Ben, "Your past maybe complicated, but you haven't even heard the end of mine, and it is not resolved. I am still a Sith Assasin. You are INJURED, we have to get you to Doc." Leia turned to Arion, "Kyp will check the ship, and we'll leave in my ship. I can't leave it here for N'Dul. I sense that Ben's family is all on board." Kyp proceeded to check the ship, and found no alterations. "Your ship is clear to fly," he reported. They left the Phoenix for the White Crystal. Through the Force Leia asked, ::Where do you want to meet up?::

Under Arion's guidance, the Phoenix took off. ::We'll meet you on board the Enterprise, and regroup there,:: Arion informed Leia.

Cruising out of hyperspace, the MedStar hospital ship Enterprise orbited the planet Alderaan with an eye for the Phoenix's last known coordinates. The Phoenix, a custom built and modified shuttle, appeared suddenly above the curve of the planet's horizon just in time to catch the interstellar waves of the tractor beams aboard the Enterprise. With an assisted landing, the Phoenix was safely nestled within the Enterprise docking bay. An emergency medical team stood by with stretcher, warming elements, CV monitors, IV fluids, and crash equipment. A second team waited with a hypothermic bath to receive Ben's severed hand. The finest vascular surgical team in the galaxy was aboard the Enterprise. Starfire smiled to himself. There would be no bionic mechanical hand for the future husband of his cousin, no matter what the Sith's relationship to the Jedi proved to be.

Aurora looked into Ben's eyes, concerned. "We've got to get you patched up now. Don't worry, JT's team is the best in the galaxy, and I'll be with you every step of the way."

N'Dul opened his eyes.

Good. The ruse worked.

He set off for his shuttle.

On the Enterprise, the hypothermic bath turned a nasty shade of browny-green, and began to bubble, as if enraged.

A figure decloaked, unnoticed, and added a clear solution to the bath. It returned to its original state and shade.

He looked like N'Dul, but this figure wore, in place of the full ceremonial garb of the Dark Lord, a simple, dark robe. He activated his stealth generator again, and retreated into the shadows.

Ben was assisted to the waiting stretcher whereupon he collapsed, the adrenaline rush from the dramatic encounter with the Sith having dissipated, the shock of the traumatic injury set in. 2 18 gage peripheral IV lines were begun with a solution of Ringer's Lactate at 150 drops per minute. As he began to shiver a warm blanket was placed over him. The cardiac monitor and pulse oximeter were perfectly placed. A quick assessment was performed by an onboard triage team. After his mother answered a series of brief questions about his medical history, Ben was given an IV sedative prior to immediate transfer to the waiting OR.

Aurora clasped Ben's free hand, gently. "You're going to sleep now, but don't worry, I won't leave you," she promised.

A feminine figure stood perfectly still within the docking bay shadows. Clad in black with a rose-magenta hooded cloak, every minute detail of the medical process was observed and recorded. After Emergency Medical Team one departed for the OR, the second team prepared to receive Ben's severed limb. Stepping forward into the light, hand raised, "Halt!" She ordered. The team froze awaiting her next command. Not a quite a Jedi, yet the force was strong within her family. "What is it, Arina?" Captain Starfire queried, a worried frown creasing his brow. Arina, whose very name meant 'Enlightened Messenger,' was his favored nurse. He felt fortunate to have her aboard as she was a natural healer whose innate sense of righteousness led to many miraculous patient recoveries. "JT," she began, "I sense a disturbance in the force, not just in the trauma emotional and physical that played out here, there is something not quite right." She lowered her hand stepping closer to the hypothermic bath and to the severed limb awaiting immersion. The cool saline bath was the color of the seas on planet Earth yet the anticipated aroma of the ocean was not present. In fact the water emitted a subtle stench of stagnant muddy waters. Arina bent closer, a long strand of her hair dark as night, fell forward toward the now swirling waters of the hypothermic bath. Instantly she sprang back as if burned by the chilled vapors arising. "Carefully this must be disposed of," she stammered to the team, "it reeks of the dark side". Arina wrapped Ben's hand within the protective folds of her cloak and quickly descended into the depths of the ship. Uneasiness fell over Captain Doctor J.T. Starfire as he pondered the implications of this new development. Arina is right, he thought to himself, sensing that a tendril of evil had reached out through the dark side of the force to touch the Enterprise.

As Arina stood over the bath, N'Dul's associate decloaked, and stabbed her through the back into her heart with a short, sharp, Sith-tainted dagger. Ripping it out, he spun around, arm outstretched along a wide arc of a trajectory, slashing through several medical assistants, and, injecting him with a quick-acting nerve agent, grabbed hold of JT Starfire, cloaked them both and set off for the hangar bay.

Wow, did you see that!?" A med tech exclaimed, one of the few to avoid the knife of the evil associate of N'Dul, Sith Lord. It was providential that Arina had already departed the small circle of medical personnel gathered around the poisoned hypothermic bath. She was already on route with Ben's hand for a reunion in the OR and did not learn of the attack until later, much. Inadvertently the toxic waters were tossed violently into the air splashing the cloaked invader. Recoiling from the Sith poison, the attacker dropped his victim. The onboard security beacon and alarm systems began to scream.

Uncouncious, Ben sensed the presence of N'Dul or someone similar to him and his eyes shot open and his fear and anger of being followed here clearly showed on his face.

Remaining behind, Atra and Sandra stood in the shadows watching JT. They saw N'Dul's associate grab him and before he was completely cloaked again, were standing infront of him with their sabers drawn. Atra coldly said "Release him.... Now."

Two shadowy figures stepped out of the shadows. One drew duel blue lightsabers and cut off the intruder's head. They picked up Captain J.T and began carrying him toward the stunned personnel. "Um, you there," Leia said to one of the personnel, "I think Doc needs some help."

The body of the man continued to writhe, while the head muttered, and, growing more controlled, grasped for it's head, continuing to mutter, slamming it back on, and fusing it back into place with the Force. He stood up, drew a long, sith blade, and turned around.

"Killing me, will not be so easy, I'm afraid. Allow me to introduce myself. My name" he paused, somewhat melodramatically, "is Guurzan N'Dul."

He leapt back to a higher level, and shot lightning the two shadowy figures, and ran back to the medical ward. Grabbing Randus and Aurora, he used Force Storm ((OOC: Wormhole)), and transported them all to the Meditation sphere, where Gurzan awaited them.

((OOC: If it's good enough for Simus, it's good enough for N'Dul ;)

Note: Wormhole/Storm and Sith Alchemy are both DS abilities which are only usable by v. powerful types - Palpatine is about the right level, or Naga Sadow... Force Storm (wormhole), Sith Alchemy, Simus))

"Aside from the galaxy, my apprentice. And his lovely wife-to-be. And you must make a choice, my apprentice."

He pulled Aurora behind him with the Force, into a Force cage.

"Me, all my power, the galaxy, absolute freedom, your wife...Or the empty teachings of the Jedi. What will it be, apprentice? Everything? Or a few empty words?"

N'Dul raised an eyebrow. "I seem to have underestimated you somewhat, my dear."

He waved a hand, and pulled her lightsabre to his hands, then, with a wave, dropped a traditional, barred cage down from the black depth of the ceiling.

"Alchemically treated Phrik metal. Utterly resistant to the Force, I'm afraid, my dear."

(Aurora gave me permission to use Arion)

A blue Lightsaber protruded from N'Dul's chest, "I think we've all had just about all we can take of this," said Leia as she deactivated her stealth and N'Dul fell to the floor. Arion cut a hole in the floor just under the cage and Aurora jumped through. "We'll meet you back at the ship," Arion called. "Hurry, I have one last thing to take care of," Leia called back. She found the self destruct switch on the wall and pressed it, "Come on, let's get out of here." Ben, Leia and Kyp ran to Leia's ship, the White Crystal Arion and Aurora had everything set up and detached from the meditation sphere. "Well, how is everyone?" Leia asked.

((OOC: Leia, you can't just kill someone's main character! Read the rules!

Second, this is an ancient Sith Lord! You aren't going to get past his guard that easily.

Third, you couldn't have gotten aboard, as the ship was miles away, and my character took Aurora and Ben there using an extremely rare Force technique.))

'N'Dul' burst into flames, disappearing. A moment later, he walked into the room, intact.

He sighed.

"Another technobeast wasted. Such a shame."

He looked towards Leia, coolly.

"And that isn't the self-destruct. There isn't one. That, my dear, is the auto-defence mechanism. It will release cyanogen gas into this chamber on my command. As you know, cyanogen is quite deadly, even on skin contact with almost all humanoids. Good day."

He gave the command, closed the doors, sealing them both with the locking mechanism and the Force, and activated the cortosis-weave lightsabre-resistant wall cladding, then walked calmly to the ancilliary control room, and took off for Korriban.

As an aftermeasure, he blew up the interior locking mechanisms on the above-mentioned chambre by remote from the control room.

As Ben began to have trouble breathing from the cyanogen gas that was filling the room, he moved over to sit down near Aurora and gently pulled her down to sit next to him. Then he leaned is head on her sholder and tried to hold back tears at what he had just done, and waited.... for anything.
