BongoBob
Microsoft used to send out boxes to people with broken Xbox 360's to send them back to them for repair. Apparently they stopped doing that, and this man got pissed. He then started, The Big Box Project. "ME: How big is your repair center? T2: I don't see how that pertains to the situation sir. ME: Because I am going to send you my broken xbox in the biggest damn box you have ever seen." This man deserves a medal.
coupes.
First of all, let me say that Microsoft's customer service sucks. IMO they should have continued with their previous policy and pay for shimpment, it's the least they can do after selling you a dud. That said, I think the guy is blowing everything out of proportions (no pun intended). It's Microsoft's right to change the policy and there isn't much the can can do about it. The best thing the guy can do protest, is simply to stop doing buisness with them, sell his Xbox and turn to the competition. Right now, he's really just trying to be an ass and get his 15 minutes of fame IMO.
BongoBob
Yes he's blowing everything out of proportion. So you have to buy/find a box and ship it to them. Oh well. But the fact that he is blowing it out of proprtion, and will send a relatively small 360 in a hueg liek xbox box, that they have to ship back to him, is what makes it freakin hilarious imo. Samuel Dravis
2. Follow Microsoft's shipping and other instructions if it determines that all or part of your Xbox Product requires return for repair or replacement. To obtain the warranty service' date=' you must take or deliver the Xbox Product [b']in suitable packaging[/b] that provides an adequate degree of protection against damage during transit, to the location specified by Microsoft. Except as otherwise required by legislation in your jurisdiction, costs associated with transport (including packaging) for warranty service shall be at your expense. Failure to follow the above instructions may result in delays, cause you to incur additional charges, or void your warranty. Oops. Guess he needs to go over his warranty again. Credits to fazed for actually reading that warranty for me though.

Although M$ can interpret that any way they like, my understanding of that is it doesn't restrict the size of the box, only that the box must be adequately protected.
