edlib
Cool clip. I'll have to ask the guy I work with about it. I'm sorry, but Adult Swim is gonna make a killing on all this. Even if Turner is sued over all this and has to pay a hefty fine... there will be serious profit in the end. And it should be totally obvious by now: They would be totally idiotic to not start making replicas of the devices and selling them over their website. I really, really want one now... unfortunately no spares... I already asked.
BongoBob
It can't be that hard to build one yourself. Rhett, where are you! Make us a diagram
Spider AL
"It had a very sinister appearance," Coakley told reporters. "It had a battery behind it, and wires." Pathetic fools. This disgusts me, as only human idiocy can disgust me. First of all, bombs don't usually display highly visible and irreverant cartoon characters on their surfaces. Secondly, as ET pointed out, not all electronic devices are terrorist bombs. These moronic, brain-dead people... they really don't deserve to be breathing my air. edlib
Yup. This whole event can be chalked up to just two things for me: Dumb viral marketing scheme gone wrong, coupled with a local government's paranoid wild overreaction. They knew what these things were pretty early in the afternoon... still they tore the city apart for the rest of the day. I saw those bomb cops around 7:30/ 8:00 at night. And we weren't their last stop either. Seems to me somebody was out there trying to get a little extra overtime and/or "hazard" pay. Totally unnecessary overkill. jebbers
"Hair Today Gone Tomorrow." That video made me and my old man chuckle.

edlib
Been done already. Last quote I heard was $5K. That was much earlier... could be much more by now. edlib
Don't know. There were a lot of these spread out across 8 different cities... and reports have a lot of people just grabbing them for themselves, so could be true. This guy says he found it attached to his business's building and just kept it. Sounds plausible enough...
