SilentScope001
Alright, this is an idea I have. It is based off the idea of a Civil War. Revan is angry that his plan of taking over the galaxy was ruined by Malak and therefore has to fight it..."in his own way". So, Revan flies into True Sith to battle the True Sith. But how? Let assume that he will try to start a civil war. If Revan is set to DS, he'll join the True Sith Empire and then break it apart from within, causing a fissure and a civil war where Revan attempt to take over the throne of the True Sith. That, I think, should be kept. After all, you are evil...you should try something evil. But what if Revan is set to LS, you know, that terrible thing known as canon? Well, I was inspired partially by the term "Jedi Civil War". It is a civil war, but really, it refers to the war Revan started. Bsaically, he created a Sith faction that got Jedi to join in. Basically, since the people living the Sith empire thinks the Sith are...well...Sith, they may make an mistake claiming that Jedi may just be Sith who obey the LS. So what if he creates a Sith Civil War where the Sith get broken up into two factions, one DS and another...well...somewhat LS? Revan is somewhat Grey, at least from what we see from Kreia. And Revan is a general who can gain allies. So what if Revan creates some sort of Grey Force-User Order in the True Sith space, gaining True Sith allies. It has to be grey, because I doubt any True Sith would actually want to embrace the Light Side...that's stupid. But being grey might be good...there are probraly some True Sith disappointed with the Dark Side and may want to embrace the LS, only for a bit. We can call this Grey Force-Using Order "Revan's Fanatics". (These Fanatics may continue the crusade of Revan...even if Revan gets killed in between TSL and K3, as to form continuty.) Note however that Revan's Fanatics are very...shall we say Kreia-grey. People may still call them evil, but you know, it's better than having Revan go full-on Dark Sided and claiming the title Dark Lord of the Sith. Now, how do we account for The Exile? Well, The Exile's alignment sets wheter his followers join the LS or the DS, deciding wheter they form a new Sith/Jedi Order. That's enough infulence, but what about in True Sith space where the Exile flees? Well, The Exile, if LS, can form a differnet Grey Force-Using Order (Exile's Fanatics?), or join Revan's Fanatics, if Revan is also set to LS. If The Exile is DS, he'll join the True Sith and fight for the True Sith throne...or of course, join Revan's struggle and fight for the True Sith's throne. ...Which leads to the possiblity of an LS person and a DS person. In this case, the Fanatics and whomever of the two is claiming the title of Dark Lord of the Sith will hate each other. The LS Person has to destroy the DS Person, but he does so quite unwillingly, and wants to redeem the DS Person as much as possible. Meanwhile, the DS Person is just a bastard and sees the LS person as a threat that has to be elimanted.
Jediphile
Hmm, personally I have a great deal of difficulty seeing the difference between "Kreia-grey" and the black of the most evil Sith Lords we could mention... Another thing occurred to me as I read this, though. It seems to me from what Kreia says in TSL that Revan came to see her after the events of KotOR. At this point in time, she was still the master of the Trayus Academy on Malachor V, meaning that is where Revan went to find her. According to Kreia, anyone who sets foot on the planet is corrupted by the dark side (that's what she tells the unconscious LS exile after killing the masters), so doesn't that mean that Revan would be DS no matter what once he left? But the LS Exile wasn't corrupted. As for Revan, he was always Kreia's perfect Jedi, so I don't think she's counting him (he was supposed to be all super powerful and everything). As for the above idea, interesting, but no. It sounds like something from - I dunno, some fantasy game rather than Star Wars. I'm partially biased because of "True Sith" idea, which I abhor, but the idea just doesn't fit into the KOTOR series.
Jediphile
But the LS Exile wasn't corrupted. No, but the exile can resist the will of the force. That's the exile's special ability, after all, so that's scarcely surprising. As for Revan, he was always Kreia's perfect Jedi, so I don't think she's counting him (he was supposed to be all super powerful and everything). The KotOR2 chronicles, which are canon (but apparently the site has disappeared - very odd...), does not seem to describe it that way: "As the battle rages on, Jedi Master REVAN moves surreptitiously between unknown sectors, scouting for potential strongholds to withstand the attacks. He soon discovers the shadowy Malachor V, a planet listed by Mandalorian scholars as "forbidden" to step foot on. The reason for this soon becomes clear as Revan is almost devoured by primal Sith forces on the world's surface. Revan's will allows him to feed on (and not be consumed by) the power of the dark side. Revan develops an evil but brilliant plan: Using the dark power of Malachor V, he will seduce an army of Jedi, completely loyal to him alone. He will then turn the planet's evil power against the Mandalorian army in battle, luring them to his stronghold and destroying them completely. A stronghold is immediately constructed." As for the above idea, interesting, but no. It sounds like something from - I dunno, some fantasy game rather than Star Wars. I'm partially biased because of "True Sith" idea, which I abhor, but the idea just doesn't fit into the KOTOR series. That depends entirely on who they are. If they are the descendants or the remnant of the Sith Empire, which fell a millennium ago, then it makes lots of sense, since it plays on previously created Star Wars history that was more or less "abandoned". SilentScope001
Another thing occurred to me as I read this, though. It seems to me from what Kreia says in TSL that Revan came to see her after the events of KotOR. Actually, it seemed to me that Revan talked to Kreia before the Mandalorian Wars. She says that line, "He came to me, because he learnt everything from the Order, except how to leave it." She says that line if Revan even is DS, meaning it makes no sense that it would happen after the events of K1...as Revan already left the Jedi Order by creating his own Sith Empire. Still, I never thought of it as you did, Jediphile, which shows Kreia is at her cryptic-self once again.
Jediphile
Actually, Kreia says both... Kreia: "He came to me, yes. Both before and after, before Revan knew himself. And after, in the times when Revan was coming into his own and learning he was more than he had been told." Seems pretty evident to me that Revan came to her before he left the order (during the Mandalorian Wars) and after the events of KotOR (when he left for the unknown regions). Jason Skywalker
Actually Jediphile, i think that what Kreia meant with that was that Revan was her first apprentice and then, before the Mando Wars, he came back to her again for more guidance. Jediphile
Well, I think the comment that Revan was "learning he was more than he had been told" is a fairly obvious reference to Revan discovering his identity during or after KotOR. YMMV.
SilentScope001
YMMV. Uh what doese that mean? I guess this quote is the best part of TSL. We don't know what actually happened, which is fun.
