You have to add "GUIsInScreenShot=0" under GameOptions in SWKotOR(2).ini, if memory serves.

Shem is right! It does not work for KotOR II! But there are pictures without GUI! Is there any other possiblity to make screenshots without the GUI?

Joris1,

1. Make sure you have the line "EnableCheats=1" in your "swkotor2.ini" file under [Game Options]. (this file is located in the default SWKOTOR2 directory and can be opened with notepad)

2. Fire up K2:TSL and load/start a game.

3. Press "capslock" to enter first-person POV.

4. Press "~" (tilde key) to enable the invisible cheat console.

5. Type "warp nnnxxx" where nnnxxx is the name of the module you'd like to take screenshots in, for example, "warp 711KOR", press enter to (re)load module.

6. You will now be playing with an invisible, yet fully functional, GUI. Go nuts with screenshots.

If you want things like the pause dialogue (shown above) to disappear, you'll probably have to get a gff editor and look through the gui.bif in kotor tool's K2 section. "pause_x.gui" and "pause_p.gui" are likely candidates. Mmm, probably the last one.

You must be in first person POV when you press tilde and enter the warp cheat or this will not make the GUI invisible. You may also need to change "EnableScreenShot=0" into "EnableScreenShot=1" in the swkotor2.ini file, depending on your method of capture.

edit: It is pause_p.gui. To make the ingame pause message invisible:

1. Extract this file from the gui.bif using KT.

2. Use kgff editor to open it.

3. Click on the 2nd line "ALPHA [Type: FLoat] Value :1".

4. Change the "1" to "0" in the value(s) box on the right.

5. Save your changes (maybe click on a different line before saving) and throw the new "pause_p.gui" in your override folder.

6. Send stoffe a thank you, since I deconstructed a K1 mod she made to figure it out.
