dude, i dont even know what your talking about, use some good punctuation and grammar. just go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> KOTOR

and don't double post, its annoying, use the edit button. and i think the reason why you can't find the uninstall is because you can't spell it correctly 70% of the time. and not all uninstalls are named uninstall.exe. just browse through the KOTOR program folder and see if you can find it.

Right if the game won't uninstall i've got a good way to get rid of it, BUT you may have to get rid of lots of your files.

Right, go to My Computer first. Then click on Control Panel, at the side (if you haven't already done so) theres a link which says "Switch to category view" (It's easier to access things). Now, click on "Performance and Maitenance" and at the side again, there should be another link saying "System Restore". Click on that and up comes a program, click "Restore my computer to an earlier time" and up comes a load of dates, what you have to do is find the date in which you INSTALLED Kotor 2 (keep in mind that the dates in which you installed programs and can restore your computer to are in bold) then when you find the day, just click on the next bold date before it. Once you computer shuts down, the system restore will start, just leave it until it's finished and you should be good to go.

Also, you can restore it to the day before you downloaded the bad file and installed it. Hope this helps.

Dude, this won't work. System Restore restores specific system files that are important to the running of your computer so any corrupt ones would work again. System Restore does not however remove problems with a game, especially if it's mod related.

actually it does. say you installed a game on Saturday, but it's all messed and you do a system restore to Monday, the game will be gone. it restores your system to what it was the day you specify.

Ya misunderstood me! What i meant was if you had any mods installed, the System Restore option doesn't restore a file replaced by a mod - since the system restore didn't work for the person needing help this has just proved my point. "It restores the system to what it was the day you specify" - the key word in this which basically sums up my point is system, not the game. System restore will change back the settings of a game or program that may have messed up the game - i suspect this is a mod-related problem; like i said before the system restore will not change back the corrupted file as it doesn't change installed files, especially for games. (Unless the file is an official update, say from Microsoft or of any software you are using). The System restore will not 'uninstall' programs or take away any music files or picture files from your hardrive just because the day set for the System Restore didn't have them; the System Restore effects mainly corrupt registry values and system settings, and not your own personal files - this was to ensure convenience as so you didn't lose any important documents etc. through a system restore and is one reason why XP is reliable. Therefore, to sum up, System Restore will not always magically make the problems disappear.

You don't *need* to uninstall. If you really want to remove the game, just delete your entire KotOR installation folder and reinstall the game. :)

tk is right - just delete the folder from your program files directory of your main hard-drive partition (or whever you installed it) and reinstall the game and it should correct the problem - especially if it's mod-related. I've had problems like this before and it's a sure-proof way of correcting an irritating problem.
