MountPanda
Nice, but isn't that thing a living thing? So doesn't it mean it has to move a bit? We'd need an animator to make that thing shake its head or something once in a while or something?
Maxstate
Really think that'll be noticable?
MountPanda
Yes? Depends on the relative size and where we're gonna put it? Perhaps make it go on the back and limit it to either jetpack or anti-force lizzy?
DarthDie
Nice job thrill. And about the head shaking....meh?
thrillhouse222
I can animate it... I think the thing that should move is the tail if anything... can I make my own bone system for it? and animation? or do I use a bone structure from a current jka model? razorace
As talked about in other thread, Y's move very slowly and tend to attach themselves to the tree they live on. As such, we don't really need to animate them if we don't feel like it. (The preexisting Y in CTY mode don't move either).
thrillhouse222
thank god!!! I did not want to animate that thing
JRHockney*
hey thrill, since you can animate things somewhat, do you think it would be possible to create an animation where you can shoot up from the ground when force pushed over or pulled? We allow gunners to shoot from the ground now, but it does always look very good especially when their face down and shoot out of the back of their head! LOL! It might even be as simple as making one frame where their hold the gun up from the ground. Of course this is also reliant on whether or not Razor would be able to code it in. razorace
You mean where the shoot originates from or the animation associated with firing?
Maxstate
The only situation where that could happen is if they pushed you from your back, but even then you couldn't really aim behind you :weird:
thrillhouse222
I can animate whatever you want... all I need is your character and the skelaton pre weighted in 3ds max... so if you can somehow get me that I can animate whatever you want. razorace
I think we have an animating skeleton on the repository, but it might be in lightwave. Alternatively, you could just use Dragon.
Johnpp
Hah! If you have any other animation proggie, forget Dragon. Small in size, yes, but nothing is better than Dragon.
