Totenkopf Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 This is like the riddle thread, but with quotes instead of puzzles. I'll start off with a fairly easy one..... I'll gladly pay tuesday for a hamburger today.
Sabretooth Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 That's Wimpy from Popeye! Here's the next one: "Iron Maiden! Excellent!"
Darth Badguy Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Bill & Ted if im not wrong. Next one: "I can pass this guy."
Sabretooth Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Nah sabertooths was Wayne's World. Not sure if you mean if the quote I posted is from Wayne's World, but it is not, from my knowledge. It occurs in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Escape from Monkey Island only.
Bimmerman Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 "This little guy? I wouldn't worry about that little guy."
Sabretooth Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 "Considering the disorder ensuing, I'm getting a feeling this thread will not last long."
ChAiNz.2da Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 "Considering the disorder ensuing, I'm getting a feeling this thread will not last long." Not sure if that was a quote or you forecasting future events No.. I'm not closing it (yet). Since I love quote games.. let's try to make this stable like the Trivia thread. 1) Person A states a quote to be identified. 2) Person B (C,D,E, etc.) guesses.. then waits to post another 3) Person A confirms guess. 4) Once guess is confirmed correct, then Person B (or whomever answered correctly) either posts a new quote, or "Passes". 5) On a "Pass" the first quote listed wins. All others will be ignored or can be 'held' till the next round. Sound fair gang?
Negative Sun Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Yup I may have to point out that it's too easy to cheat in this thread though, famous quotes are a lot easier to find on Google than Star Wars trivia only die-hard fans would know of...
Totenkopf Posted June 24, 2007 Author Posted June 24, 2007 Well, the way around that is to find "obscure" quotes (though not too much so, lest it die on the vine that much quicker). There are enough out there to make it as easy or hard as one wants. All the more so if you pick something from out of an Indie flick, rather than a big budget film. Same goes for speeches, books, etc... So, with ChAiNz's advice in mind, I think that leaves Capt Jack's and Bimmermans before we move on......
