Totenkopf Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070726/ap_on_re_us/duke_lacrosse So, does anyone really think this phony, mealy mouthed scumbag shouldn't do some time?
Web Rider Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 oh he most definitely should, however, I haven't seen a counter-case by the players and their families yet, so perhaps their families feel better to just let it drop and move on. He should be, minimally, disbarred.
Nancy Allen`` Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 It's a crime to make a false report, and rightfully so. Something like this can destroy a person even if they're found innocent, someone who intentionally makes false statements like that should go down.
Jae Onasi Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I'm not sure how he could possibly bring charges with no, or at best circumstantial, evidence, and then lie about providing DNA evidence to the defense. That's just bizarre. The article did note that he'd been disbarred. Whether that's permanent or not is another matter, but he won't be practicing law for quite some time.
