Qui-Gon Glenn
I have a ton of handwritten notes scattered and on different sized pieces of paper. I am getting organized, and part of that is typing stuff into word format. Part of what I want to do now is write out my dialogs. Does DLGEdit prefer Word, Notepad or Excel for copy and paste? If this is a ridiculous question, it is only the first of many
Emperor Devon
It doesn't seem to matter from I've observed. The most trouble you can expect is formating issues.
Allronix
Cutting and pasting from Word (and Open Office) was how I whipped up that dialogue pack. Just make sure to double-check the carriage return (the point where the lines stop - yes, I learned to type on a manual typewriter)
Qui-Gon Glenn
^^^ Thank you Allronix, and E.D. Your dialogue pack was a lot of work, so I'm glad to know that it's well tested... It simply is not possible to do all of the work on my main machine, and I don't want vestigal TalkED's and DLGEdit's floating around on 4 different machines, none of which are mine! So, Word or Excel was going to be the format of choice. Then I can always email myself and put work into the good ol' dialog rough folder.
