JediMaster12
"You misunderstand me," Andros replied. Komad was a good Jedi but not everything was wrapped up into obvious plots. He added, "Tyrannus wants to make you think he is. That is his way: deception. You would know that better than anyone." "The enemy Father is referring to are what have been called Outcasts in Basic but their name is Rashikian," Jun-la explained, "They look like us but they have the stench of death about them and their language is the third river that few can speak but dre not utter." Alkonium
"Rashikian? Greea told me once about how she found one during the Battle of Rhen Var twenty years ago. It wasn't long after we first met." Komad replied. "I should talk to her about it. She's on her way back from dealing with smugglers on Kessel, and should be home tonight." JediMaster12
"They are not that uncommon young Komad," Andros replied. "Strange that she should see one." Andros led the way into the temple. It had been a long time. The last Rashikian skirmish occurred when his mother was at the age of a padawan.
Alkonium
(@JM12:I'm referencing something you wrote in the first RP, in case you forgot about it) "It was on the Sith Star Destroyer Reaper, less than an hour before I lost my right hand." Komad added. "You could ask her about it when she gets home. They've probably been planning this for a long time."
JediMaster12
((Andros wouldn't have known about that but thanks for the reminder)) "Maybe or they are taking their chances." Andros continued to set the strong pace he had set, "The last organized fight was when my mother finished her three year stint at the Shi-Cho academy with two other padawans. The Governor of Andorra allied herself with them. Lust for power I guess. Perhaps I will ask but first we must greet your sister. She just arrived back from the fleet." Alkonium
"What to you mean by the fleet? It was taken out of commission at the end of the war sixteen years ago, and the Senate is still debating whether to reactivate it." Komad replied. JediMaster12
"Then I suppose you don't know of the squadron still in existence under your sister. I think they named themselves Rogue Squadron like the one of before," Andros replied. He knew Komad would want an explanation and he gave one, "She didn't want to say anything about it since it was supposed to be a secret. They mostly have gone on patrols but they are technically the only thing standing between the Republic and any threat that may come. Avalonian supported of course." He gave a smile. Alkonium
"I doubt the Senate would approve of that." Komad replied. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to open a channel with my wife." Komad then left for the Temple Communications Array.
JediMaster12
"Some did. That is why they exist," Andros replied. He shook his head as he watched Komad head to the comm. He then asked young Andros, "Did I say something?"
Alkonium
"No, it's just weird meeting the man I was named after for the first time." Andros Kaltas replied. "I'm sorry I never told you. Greea and I named our son after you." Komad said to Andros Starlighter.
JediMaster12
"That is not what I asked but I am honored all the same. Namesakes mean much on Avalon. That is why Andorra and I named the twins after my parents," Andros smiled. "Perhaps we should meet your sister first and then see your wife. Then we can make our choices." Alkonium
"Alright, I guess it's back to the Temple hangar then." Komad replied. "It'll be good to see my sister again, she's been gone for weeks."
JediMaster12
Andros gave a slight nod and led the way. He gave a knowing look to Reyvan who was anxious to see her. They had been separated for months, each doing their own thing with her at the fleet and him with his padawan. Reyvan's heart gave a little beat when he heard Master Starlighter reveal that she was home. Andros began a conversation with his namesake, "So how long will it be before my daughter Jun-la tains you?"
Alkonium
"Probably not until I'm my sister's age. She only recently started training under my uncle Reyvan, and that's around the normal age for Jedi to begin training, at least alone under one teacher." Andros replied. JediMaster12
"When my mother was fifteen she was promoted to knighthood. An anomaly but a necessity considering she had shown much in her aptitude in the Force," Andros entertained the younger Andros. "She was a powerful Jedi. She had this unique talent of hiding within the Force or cut herself off from it without repercussions. That was how she protected me before I was born." He then smiled, "Still padawans are declared ready when their teacher's think they are."
Alkonium
"My parents may both be powerful Jedi, but I'm only twelve. I've never heard of anyone my age being considered great Jedi." Andros replied. "Though, I did build a lightsaber on my own when I was ten. This is it right here." He then pulled out a small lightsaber and activated it, its blade keeping a stable shape and green glow.
JediMaster12
"Impressive blade. The crystal seems to be set correctly," Andros allowed. He pulled a lightsaber that had a long handle from his belt and held it out ot the boy, "This is mine. A saberstaff, more power per swing but harder to master. It comes apart to create two single blades. Go on, hold it. Just becareful if you activate it."
Alkonium
(@JM12:You interested at all in my Seeds of Corruption RP? It's currently the only RP started by me without you in it.) "My dad's lightsaber is like that, though not as ornate. He built it shortly before my sister was born." Andros replied. "What was he like back then? My dad, I mean." JediMaster12
Andros looked at the boy, not sure what to say. He was honest yes but to tell the truth could be well...damaging if said the wrong way. According to his best friend, his father lied about his father being murdered but Andros say that it was based on point of view. Taking a breath, he replied, "He was younger to start as well as I. Didn't have all this silver on my head." He gave a smile.
Alkonium
"I guess that would make sense. The war was still going on back then. My parents don't like to talk about it, but I was wondering if you could tell me anything. All I really know is that it was with the Sith, and it was as long as the Galactic Civil War." Andros told the man he was named for.
JediMaster12
"I understand their reasons for doing so," Andros replied, "War is not like the games cadets learn at a military academy. It has that effect on people." Andros smiled, "Your father believes in fighting for justice, a good thing but must have its caution."
Alkonium
"Son, you probably didn't know this, but I was born a year into the war, and until your sister was born, I had never known peace." Komad told his son. "It made me grow up a lot faster that I wanted to. Your grandmother was killed when I was ten, and your grandfather got stranded on Tatooine for seven years while everyone thought he was dead. That's why I don't like to talk about it." JediMaster12
"And part of it is also the reason your sister spent three years in self imposed exile," Andros added.
Alkonium
"Speaking of my sister, we're at the landing pad now, and I see her X-38 already." Komad told the group. Andros always liked seeing his aunt, in spite of her inability to accept that the republic was no long at war with anyone. He also thought that her Twi'lek half was more noticeable on the outside than her human half, moreso than his father.
JediMaster12
Alkéa looked out over the landing pad and saw her brother and niece and nephew. Her eyes though lingered heavily on Reyvan. She had missed him and couldn't wait until they were in the privacy of their quarters. She jumped out of her fighter and greeted everyone. She said to her brother, "Well Brother, a welcoming party?"
