scantan
I really enjoyed Psychonauts, up until the Butcher and Raz's father at the end, then I wished I'd never played the game at all. After being a relatively easy game until then, it became so difficult that I am never going to bother trying to get to the end. I don't care. It was a great game, then it was thrown away by an impossible last couple of challenges. After 30 minutes of killing the butcher, Raz's father is just impossible. I give up. Its made me totally frustrated and I don't care what the ending is. Just had to vent that. Cheers, Simon.
martmeister
Just roll around then when the Butcher swings in right arm down and his cleaver gets stuck, climb on board and smack him in the head. I used Shield for one of Raz's psi-powers. Yes, escaping the water peril is annoying. Takes a lot of (quick) timing, swinging, and floating. Invisibility and maybe Shield were what I used. Mainly, a lot of timed jumps/floats. For the Butcher/Raz's dad (part 1!), I rolled around, used Shield when need be, then Telekinesis to lob the flaming pins at the Butcher. The last fight between the Butcher/Raz's dad combo (part 2!), I used Shield when in regular mode and just pummeled them when in big mode.
scantan
Thanks for the reply and tips Martmeister. I guess I just got too frustrated to bother playing further. Otherwise, my keyboard/mouse will be in danger of being smashed to bits. I'll just go play through Bioshock instead again. Cheers, Simon.
ThunderPeel2001
I think you need a gamepad...? I found it a lot easier than some and I used a PS2 controller hooked up to my PC. I can't imagine playing with a mouse and keyboard!
