NiKo
i went to see it last night with some budds, the movie lacked of common sense, but hey its science fiction. it was however fun to look at the monkeys faces and the ending kinda made up for the ****ty moments of the movie has anyone else seen it yet? ------------------ ~if you can't lower Heaven, raise Hell.~

Natty
I had a fight over my best friend about it, we agreed to see it together, but noooooo she put her bf first and saw it with him, as she usually ends up doing with movies Besides, why should I give up going to the footy just so I can see a movie with her It's not like I can go to the footy any time, each week is different, but you can go to the movies anytime, so I still haven't seen it and don't know when I will get to either ------------------ Brighty's definate better half! storken
I think the Apes was lying about how they should live in pease with the Humans. So when Leo left and got to the future, the apes let Thade free and started kill all humans.... ------------------ "the storks are listening"

raVen_image
Burton's creative well ran dry several years ago. The ending of Planet of the Apes was ripped right out of the CREATIVE mind of Kevin Smith. News here: http://www.viewaskew.com/main.html Kevin is taking it with a wry smile, but Tim's statement that "I don't read comic books" is an absolutely pathetic attempt to cover up what was (obvious to me) plagorism. MtBlanc
I saw Planet of the Apes. I didn't like it very much. I don't know why, I don't know how, I just can't explain my dislike of the film. But about Tim Burton burning out, I'd have to agree. When I watched Planet of the Apes, just for the cinematography aspects, I couldn't distingush this as a Burton film from any other ordinary Hollywood high priced movie. The images, while they should be spectacular, didn't seem that way, nor did they look very Burton-esque at all. Sleepy Hollow and Planet of the Apes do kind of show that Burton is running on empty. MegaMonkey
do NOT spoil the ending without warning it. I'm glad I read this thread trough my eyes closed so I didn't see it Ok, so the name should've been called Planet of the MegaMonkey's, and it should've starred me, but I had hurries unfortunately. I know those apes look big and bad, but wait 'til you see me in my full naked glory! ------------------ NFGB = Nerd Fuck3r and Gates's B1tch! MtBlanc
Yeah, it was mighty entertaining, I'll give it that, but not the artistic movie I thought Burton was going to create. But a good, entertaining, fun film to see. Go and watch it!
MegaMonkey
I'll go and watch how my smaller than small cousins are doing in the films... One of them has a very promising acting-career beginning! And rumours say they're masked human.. LISTEN TO ME - THEY'RE REAL APES. Of course they're going to annihilate me after saying this, and you won't probably see me ever again. ------------------ NFGB = Nerd Fuck3r and Gates's B1tch! NiKo
what didnt fit so much, was that the humans were in an action film, and the apes seemed to be playing in a disney film....their acting was way to "toony"..... but i guess they were the comic releaf
storken
ooh, they were apes.... that explains why they were so ugly. (sorry, i'm bored)
MegaMonkey
I don't like the looks of storks sorry, a reflective defensive reply to your verbally attacking one - and has no meaning whatsoever and will go down with a grain of smileys ------------------ NFGB = Nerd Fuck3r and Gates's B1tch! Guest murta
Erm, guys, if you're gonna wreck the plot for anyone who hasn't seen it, at least put a warning at the top of your messages. I'm going to see this tonight, but I think I know the ending now thansk to a certain Mr NiKo . Guess I shouldn't have really looked at the topic, so it's sorta my fault
storken
if you see the word ending written in a sentence, why read the sentence?
Guest murta
The word ending wasn't in the sentence, it was just "From what I figured..." Anyway, never mind, I didn't read all of it
