Brighteyes Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Hey d'ya know what, our best freind Fealiks has made me think. This place might actually be pretty important to me. I've had a hell of a life since joining the forum; been around the globe and done a ton o crazy jobs etc but the only stable thing, the one thing that has always been there was this forum. I hardly ever come here, but i know it's there. In a ****ed up kinda way this place is a kind of a home. Mods i know theres no point to keep this thread open, but it's vaguely important in an emotionally just after a wine tour filled way. And you know we can make a giant reel of sheit out of it. Damn i'd really miss you guys.
Kjølen Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Home is where you tip you hat, they say. Or rather, that one EMI cutscene says.
Brighteyes Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 Wow sorry bout that, had just got back from a wine tour in the Adelaide Hills and looks like i was feeling pretty drunk & loved up. (Loving the sarcasm that was missed tho)
Brighteyes Posted December 23, 2007 Author Posted December 23, 2007 D'ya know, they actually post at World of MI. Whats that about?
Fealiks Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Yeah, I visit there from time to time. Interesting stuff. Nice of them to try and keep the community alive.
Joshi Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Pity it's all but dead now... well, the forums are still around and the content's still up... and the comic will still be going if Paco ever finds the time to do it... but yeah, it's all dead now. Pity.
Fealiks Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Wow, he closed it... I can't believe that. That's a real shame.
Joshi Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 It's fairly believable, there hasn't been any decent MI related news since MI4, that's what, 6 years? I say good on them for keeping it going to the 10 year mark, but they may as well lay it to rest now. Plus Dalixam probably has a lot to be getting on with with his life right now, no use spending his time worrying about the past. Still, it was an amazing website, on par with the Scumm Bar in their hey day.
Fealiks Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 They did stay spot on though, any mention of anything MI related and they would be straight on to it.
Skinkie Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 That used to be the first site I went to every day. Kinda sad.
