CrisG
Updating, any progress that is not included pls PM me. thanks and great work by everyone on the continuing Restorations. Now that we know the future of the KoTOR universe coming from LucasArts and Biowar, the enhancement of KoTOR I and II will need to come from community restorations and mods. Seamhainn
Chris, not to disappoint you, but everything that could be restored is already done. Admittedly there are still "unused" bits and pieces, but its to little to make a restoration of. The Sleheyron Project (which is still worked on - kind of) is not a restoration per se. Everything else which comes up now is pure modding (which isn't a bad thing, mind you!).
Pikmin
I've got a Korriban thing that I made that allows you to take the party members into the last tomb with you, and hear their lines about the map.(it also has an modified version of Bastilla on Korriban.) Seamhainn
Great work, Pikmin. I tried the Bastila on Korriban-mod once, but when Bastila told me that she can't acompany me and seconds later I can add her to my party, it killed it for me. It nonetheless is interesting what Bastila on Korriban and the other party members in the tomb have to say, I give you that :-) .
Pikmin
I haven't been able to test the new Bastilla lines for her in the tomb yet though.
Dan Loto
Chris, not to disappoint you, but everything that could be restored is already done. Admittedly there are still "unused" bits and pieces, but its to little to make a restoration of. I disagree. Looking at the list, numbers 5, 6, 10, 11 (I'm doing 11 next), 12 (didn't Jeebus restore this?), 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 20 (I'm restoring 20 with 11), 21, 23, 28, 31, 36, 42, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 55, and 56 can still be restored. Darth Payne
The list starts at post 28.
Seamhainn
@Payne: Thank you! Age takes its toll. @Dan: You might be right, and I was to quick with my conclusion. The question is, how much of your Gamorrean Stronghold is your own devicing and how much original content. The new Shadowland part I did is all made up by me, for example. So in my eyes its no restoration, merely a mod. As time permits, I might give the list another glance over :-) . Take care
CrisG
As a compiler, I try to gather the information for whatever anyone feels drawn to work on to contribute. Restoration can cover a range of degrees from replacing things left out by mistake to major elements that were not completed but were worked on by the orignal design team and part of which are still present. It is an individual choice, and any effort to the common good is a plus in my humble opinion. Much has been achieved, and more remains for future effort. And I admire very much the efforts on the Sleheyron Project and all the other work past, present and what may come.
Pikmin
If I was to send someone my mod would you be able to test it and take screenshots for me? PM if you are available. EDIT: I'm also working on the Return to Dantoine. My idea is that the Republic sent troops to Dantoine as a defense measure, and when the sith attack several of them are taken prisoner. You recieve a distress call from the jedi on dantoine, and head to Dantoine. When you drop out of hyperspace you recieve a transmission telling you that the enclave has been overrun and that you will have to land elsewhere, and are given cordinates for the Dantoine landing pad. After landing a republic soldier greets you and tells you several of his corp were captured and are being held in the enclave sublevel. You head there and defeat the sith and rescue the soldiers. {Now you will be able to meet with Yathura if you save her right before/after the levithan.}
Dan Loto
The question is, how much of your Gamorrean Stronghold is your own devicing and how much original content. None of it was left over, save for that screenshot and interview. It was much like the restoration of Sleheyron...with a lot less information. None of the cut NPCs in the Undercity are "made up" though. My idea is that the Republic sent troops to Dantoine as a defense measure, and when the sith attack several of them are taken prisoner. Do you mean that the Jedi called for help when they were attacked? You recieve a distress call from the jedi on dantoine, and head to Dantoine. How does that work? A hologram like Admiral Dodonna did? When you drop out of hyperspace you recieve a transmission telling you that the enclave has been overrun and that you will have to land elsewhere, and are given cordinates for the Dantoine landing pad. Do you mean the cut landing pad..or a quickly thrown together pad? After landing a republic soldier greets you and tells you several of his corp were captured and are being held in the enclave sublevel. You head there and defeat the sith and rescue the soldiers. The enclave sub level will require a very skilled modder. {Now you will be able to meet with Yathura if you save her right before/after the levithan.} How will that work with her speaking basic? Pikmin
Do you mean that the Jedi called for help when they were attacked? Yes. How does that work? A hologram like Admiral Dodonna did? Yes, after the convo about you being Revan, T3 will tell you that you are receiving a communication and plug it into the holoprojector. It will probably be a Knight that calls for aid. Do you mean the cut landing pad..or a quickly thrown together pad? I was thinking that one yes, and since I don't think they left it in the game I was looking at the screens and I think a reskinned Tatooine dock would work. The enclave sub level will require a very skilled modder. Quannon/Doc Valentine/Sithspecter... How will that work with her speaking basic?Well, since she already has lines for appearing on Dantoine(in game actually). You won't be able to talk to her until you clear away the sith. Dan Loto
I threw together a quick web site for cut content. It has brief discriptions. http://www.freewebs.com/kotor1cutcontentlist/index.htm I was thinking that one yes, and since I don't think they left it in the game It wasn't left in the game files, that's correct. I think that the hanger was suppose to be through the door South of where the Ebon Hawk usually lands. http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox/file/556553/37172 I was looking at the screens and I think a reskinned Tatooine dock would work. If you can get someone capable of making the sub level and a ruined enclave then the hanger should be pretty basic for them.
Pikmin
I think that the hanger was suppose to be through the door South of where the Ebon Hawk usually lands. If that's the case it would be better to say it is a quickly thrown together one. Anyway I guess if is custom made then it could look more the one in K2. Dan Loto
Lehon was a crash landing. Dxun then. I just don't think that they have a landing pad sitting around...unless you land on someone's house.
Pikmin
So you're saying that the ONLY landing pad was at the enclave?(which was probably Jedi use only.) EDIT: Republic soldier on Kashyyyk?
Dan Loto
So you're saying that the ONLY landing pad was at the enclave?(which was probably Jedi use only.) I'm pretty sure there were more at Garang http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Garang , but I'm not assuming after that.

It has brief discriptions. http://www.freewebs.com/kotor1cutcontentlist/index.htm @Dan: A big thumbs up for your work. I was always looking for a comprehensive site were all the done restorations were pooled together. Again: applause for what you did! EDIT: None of it was left over, save for that screenshot and interview. It was much like the restoration of Sleheyron...with a lot less information. None of the cut NPCs in the Undercity are "made up" though. @Dan: I really don't want to bother you, but I am curious. As you created a totally new module, where did you find the NPCs you mentioned, and were there original dialogue left?
