Beating the Dead Sasha/Milla Horse

(So here I am at home, because my school was flooded from all of the wacky Ohio weather, with time on my hands. Yay, speculation!)

 

So anyway, I was replaying the game a few days ago, and I was wondering if Sasha and Milla were ever together.

 

Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, "Woodnote!!1 They were\ SOO together!! ~~ Didn't you see Mila's memory vault?"

 

Of course I did, but when Raz finally shows up for Levitation practice, he mentions how Sasha said she was one of the best Psychonauts or something along the lines of that. Milla seems awful humbled, thinking to herself that she thought Sasha never noticed.

 

So nothing is exactly proven. Well, if you count the concept art and Milla's memory vault, I suppose it is. In a way I wish it were, just so that I can stop running into strange Sasha/Raz fanart.

One's fantasy is different that reality. It's possible that Milla's always liked Sasha, but didn't know if Sasha felt the same. Since they're both psychonauts agents, working together was common.

Sasha and Milla's relationship is complex. Powerful psychics working together in dangerously violent secret missions. Opposite personalities. Milla's personal history gives a strong disposition to protecting children. Sasha's trains young psychics by any means necessary.

 

Sasha's Prussian reserve conflicts with Milla's party girl attitude.

Sasha lives at the camp in a dark secret underground laboratory. Milla commutes in a sports car. Milla teaches in the sunshine, floating on a lake. The work on opposite sides of the surface of the earth. Sasha is severe. Milla is flamboyant.

 

Even the two aspects of their jobs conflict. Training psychic children and performing missions for the PSI Corps. Milla is very female. Sasha equally masculine.

 

Milla's secret room shows her nightmares despite her carefree exterior. Sasha's Megacensor hints at volcanic possibilities. The final image in "Milla's adventures" shows the two as close together as possible. Milla with a warm smile. Sasha as unbent as it's possible for him to be.

 

But even an intimate personal relationship might not cause Sasha to acknowledge Milla's levitation abilities. Which would really explain Milla's tone when saying "I didn't know he noticed."

In any case, I'm not sure they were ever together. At most, it's probably a mutual crush neither have admitted to for the sake of keeping world-saving strictly business.

I'm confidant they got together, however briefly. Sasha keeps overreaching himself. Underestimating Raz, "I could lose my job," and "Agent Vodello would kill me."

 

Milla's puts on a party girl personality, even vamping Raz, a ten year old boy.

 

At some point Milla and Sasha would inadvertently call each other's bluffs.

 

Now, their behavior at Whispering Rock may be due to the influence of psitanium, which intensifies mental phenomena. They seem a little unstable for agents. That would explain why they're as far apart as possible with respect to the surface of the earth. Neither touches it, and they're on opposite sides. Taking no chances of making contact.

Obviously Milla and Sasha are pretty into eachother, albiet secretly. There's the concept art where their arms are linked together and all their little adventures together. As an Office fan, I like to think of them certainly as a Jam, both are obviously crushing on one another, but they're both way to reserved to admit it.

 

Also, SashaMilla fanfiction is getting very old. It's a dead horse, EltonMilka plzkthx.
