I have a sony viao with nvidia 8400m gt viedo

I just don't get it..... with x.p I had no problems. now I have vista with a GeForce 8400m GT graphics card I have set both ( kotor & tsl ) to play as if in X.P w\ service pack 2. I actually surpass whats needed to play the game but it says my video don't meet the min. sys. req. this cant be!!! I have looked for updated drivers but to no avail. is there any help for me? I hate that I cant play kotor or tsl

Have you tryed playing the game? If so what happens? My laptop surpasses all the requirements, and the games say in the requirement field that my Laptop fails the graphics card test; however I can still play the game in all the highest graphical settings.

Try turning down or off all your graphics settings and see if that gets it to start. If you haven't checked nVidia's site recently, double check to see if they've come out with something new. Also, sometimes you have to run the game as administrator. See the stickies on running the game on Vista and on a laptop--there may be tips there that help you also.

o.k got it, thank you both if i run the game as admin. and just try to play the game it seems to work just fine so far.
