TiE23
If you've ever played that Java App Sand World then you'll understand the idea behind this. Like the sand game, except with water and other liquids. I've spent well over an hour with this program and I'm still having a great time. http://www.octaveengine.com/casual/download/trialdl.html The site is in Japanese, but the program is in English. It's only about 5mb and it's for both Windows and Mac. I realize this is a pretty shallow thread, but hey, it doesn't have to be Shakespeare. *Yoink, those pics are annoying* There is a save system I think, so post some saves if you want. : D
Kjølen
It's a wonder the Japanese get any real work done at all. And not just making these trinkets.
IG-64
Looks fun. I might try it out for a bit later just for something to mess around with. I'll be interesting to see how the physics work.

IG-64
It's pretty fun. I like the "mochi." Too bad they don't have a multi-treaded one, as it starts to slow down when the screen gets about half full even on mah über comp. I babelfish'd the help file (cause I didn't feel like bothering my sister to translate) and I learned a few things, namely with the "pouring." With pouring activated, click the main screen, hold shift, and press left or right on the arrow keys to move it around. Also, with the main screen clicked, hold shift and press the hotkeys for each physics thing and it'll pour out that (usually the first letter. Like, mochi is "m", but water is "q"). Also, "jet" is like a thruster when attached to objects, and "cooler" liquefies the vapor created when water hits the heater or fire.
TiE23
I've made some "Steam Recyclers" as an experiment. (Right click and save) http://kyle.geib.googlepages.com/SteamRecycler1.oec http://kyle.geib.googlepages.com/SteamRecycler2.oec http://kyle.geib.googlepages.com/SteamRecycler3.oec #1 is my first try, and it's okay. #2 is the best and really efficient and quick. #3 is one I just made and it has three chambers, it's pretty slow and big, and the steam is a little too cluttered. And here is a bomb my dad made, just drop fire on the wick. One try only, use Ctrl-Z to reset it quickly. Datheus
It crashes from a runtime error every time I try to open it.
swphreak
Same deal as Datheus. With all the time I've spent with falling sand, I'm sure I'd like this. As far as I can find out. It's either a language or C++ issue. Edit: It's a language problem. This works, but according to other people, the japanese version is more updated (better). Edit2: This is awesome. Turning off Gravity is trippy.
Datheus
I don't understand. What did you do to make it work? I really want to try this. Nevermind. I am having trouble telling a link from regular text, for some reason. Also, it runs sooo sloooow on my laptop. Bah!
IG-64
Save file Foreground image Dunno if it'll work on resolutions smaller than 1680x1050, probably not. I spent far too much time on that.
milo
Runs extremely friggin' slow on my computer. :/
