MdKnightR Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I'm going to apologize in advance for not reading every post to this thread and just interject my 2 cents. Hunger is not a problem of food production, but a problem of politics. There is plenty of food being produced globally to feed everyone, but transportation costs, corrupt governments, etc. are the causes of hunger in certain areas of the world. Again, just my 2 cents.
mur'phon Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 ^^Another thing to keep in mind is that when education/increased standard of living reduces population growth. There is a reason most of Europe have "negative" birthrates.
