Guest DarthMaulUK Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Popular site Kotatku.com have posted some distressing news coming from the LucasArts camp with upto 100 people losing their jobs. You can read about it here
Darth_Pete Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Doesn't suprice me though. What was the last game above mediocre they made?
Inyri Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Jedi Outcast was 'made' by Ravensoft. LucasArts hasn't 'made' its own games in-house for probably near a decade.
M@RS Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Actually LucasArts made JO with Ravensoft, they still made it...part of it at least

Inyri Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I been owned by an admin... tk doesn't wub me anymore. Hehe gotta be the only one, though. Explains why it was only half finished.
TripHammer Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I'm not surprised either. Outsourcing has become the norm now. Everything revolves around licensing for SW now... IMO. Star Wars is the goose that lays the golden eggs for George and will keep earning money for GL's estate long after he's gone.
