Drunkside
So yes that is basically my question... I have been stuck with this for about two weeks now, and i still havent gotten it working. I make an alpha channel area, make a txi file named PMBI91.txi for my texture, PMBI91. The txi file includes the "envmaptexture cm_baremetal" text that i copy and paste from kotor tool.... When i try to use my armor in-game, i see right through my characters chest. Soo any ideas? And btw im new and sorry if i broke some rules (since the rules seemed quite.. weird and i didnt quite understand everything)...
e-varmint
I believe that you will have to change something in the appearance.2da file. If you do a forum search for baremetal, it will return several informative threads on the subject.
Drunkside
Ok ty ill try that! (BACK)Now i understand (or think i understand) But since í have no idea on 2da. editing could someone give me a link to some sort of a tutorial? I wanted to put these items i make into containers/merchants inventories anyways so no harm in this... Well if i dont learn the 2da. editing thats another story:p
The Betrayer
There's a whole section dedicated to .2da editing. http://lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Drunkside
Yes but i couldnt find anything useful/understandable (LoL) for this certain problem... I just want to be able to: a)make a metallic armor plate on jedirobe b)be able to put it ingame
The Betrayer
Did you use Photoshop to paint the alpha channels already? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but that's the only thing I could think of.
