Drunkside
I have two questions about it: 1) Is it a fact that the "help cylinder" should be about 30 cm long? My saber hilt looks like a baseball bat... 2) They have to be MDL files to work in kotor right? So do i need a converter program or is rename enough?... More will come later if these are solved... im almost 100% sure of it.
Marius Fett
You don't really need the help cylinder. You can just check the height as you go along. AS for your second question, no. A rename will not suffice. You will need the NWMax plugin for the 3D program you are using. (GMax or Max) to export your ASCII models, and MDLOps 5.0 to compile them. oldflash
For first question. I build my hilts in sizes between 16cm and 24cm.
Drunkside
Cool i have both of those programs already (Made a sword reskin). Ill go back to working on the hilt later on, now it doesnt taste good:p EDIT: Yea I was right... LoL this time its not fun to be right:p So here goes: Am I supposed to have some "spare" parts in my uv-map? Couse there are two lines and a horribly small box that... well my model hasnt got them. I fully checked it 4 or 5 times by using the select face thingy...
