Canderis
Im not too good at explaining but ill try my best... 1)open your kotor tool 2)expand your kotor->BIFs->2da.bif 3)locate heads.2da 4)click on heads.2da until the .2da editor opens up 5)Now you need to locate the npcs head you want to use and copy it. for this tutorial i will be using juhani's head. 6)now we need to insert this into a pc's head slot for this tutorial i will use PFHA01 7)Now just paste itwhere you see "PFHA01""PFHA01D""PFHA02D""PFHA01D" 8)Now save the file and send it to your override and YOU JUST CHANGED A HEAD!! Inyri
I wouldn't recommend doing it this way since you are overwriting a head option. Instead there is an option in portraits.2da to make the head available to player characters (change the 0 in the 'forpc' column to 1). Much simpler and does not require you to remove any head options.
Canderis
well this will work for heads that "aren't" already party members or pc's
Inyri
The method I described will work for any head you want... A decent head mod will always provide the character portraits, so you would need to add the portraits to portraits.2da anyway. Better to do it the proper way than the quick and easy way that's likely to goof things up.
