I'm abit of a SW addict too, so we got alot of in common. Sorry I'm not a man of a lot of words, So If you dont mind I'd like to go straight to business; I have read many of the Tutorials about modeling, Skinning, Body editing. Recent I bought 3dsmax 9, For practice, Learning more about modeling. But that's beside the point, As for modding the Kotor I game, So far I managed to : 1. Extract the Original model with textures (mdl+mdx) by using the Kotor Tool. 2. Managed successfully to load it in 3dsmax with the textures. 3. Managed to change Bastila's Nose (made it longer, Just to test the compile process) , Right after I did everything (hopefully) according the Tutorials by ; Reset X form -> Attach to Aurorabase -> Compile without animations, Check sanity went fine , everything was good , Max9 did it's job by placing the new mdl file in the Export folder (Tip from tutorial). Next I renamed the model (added the -z) and copied it to the folder with the Originals and used mdlops0-5-0 program on the *.-z file. If you want to change a head model you will need to use Taina's Replacer (and follow the included instructions). As much as we would like it, you can't simply import a model with animation, change it, and re-export it. It doesn't work that way. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
