Darth InSidious
Now with pretty pictures! If you missed it, The HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy text adventure was re-released by the BBC in this marvellously snazzed up version a while back. The original, released between 1984 and 1987, was fiendishly difficult, horrendously complex, very funny, and had a lot of very interesting ways for you to die and fail the game. This version is almost identical but for the new graphical bits, and the ability to see your inventory. So, yes. If you missed it, go check it out - if you hadn't realised it was still around, go check it out anyway. It'll make an amusing twenty minutes years, regardless. Da_man
I thought you were talking about Zork. Nice find BTW.
jrrtoken
Argh! The bulldozer keeps on crashing into my house before I can really do anything! Apparently, when I type in "look through pocket", it doesn't understand the word "through". DI, you have me addicted to this game from its complete frustration. I hope you're happy. ForeverNight
Dang! I'm gonna have to get this and try my hand... And, I agree with Da_Man, I thought you were talking about Zork from the title as well... oh well, "Plugh" still does nothing. (A hollow voice says, "fool.") Giant Graffiti
I remember beating this a few years ago... I did use the actual book, though. I think it was the original text version, I'll see if I can find a screenshot.
