So I went through the thread, and I saw how I progressed through these past few years. I also noticed how I had a lot of skins people liked but I never ended up releasing due to complications or whatnot. Well, not this time. Before I start work on restoring all these skins, I decided to start work on that Near Human pack I bragged about back in like the first or second page of the thread, and I'll start by releasing a teaser of it. The full mod, alongside my restored pack (dubbed "Relapse") will be released eventually. Relapse will include not only a lot of my skins that I posted about, but a lot of my own models, including lightsabers. I won't start work on my lightsaber pack again, because somehow I lost a lot of the models. I really need to work on backing my stuff up.

 

As for my teaser pack, it will, like originally planned, include a male echani and a female zeltron. And here are those pics the masses so hungrily desire :p

The teaser pack will just replace the heads I used for their skins, but they are fully set up for dark side transitions (Zeltron gets sith eyes, while the Echani's icy blue eyes turn into a darker shade of blue)

 

Between the release of the teaser and the release of the final product (do the math, 2 per gender, 4 per race, 5 races. 20 total, 10 guys and 10 gals) the above skins may change, however slightly, in order to add a little variety in their colors.

 

Oh, and heres the teaser pack. I don't figure making a thread for a mod that isn't even near completion is a good idea, but thats just my opinion. The pack will only replace the heads, so underwear, dancer outfit, or any mod you may have that has skin will look wierd with my skins, especially the Zeltron. In the final product there will be custom clothes/underwear/dancing outfit so that they don't look weird with their respective head.

I'm assuming you're planning on keeping Near Human skins-only?

 

Nope, in the final product they will be their own heads, and they aren't just all reskins of PC heads, I hope to have some of the NPCs 'donate' their heads, like perhaps Luxa's head, or the unused Kaevee's head.

I have achieved almost no progress on any of the projects that I have posted about, beside from a new Echani Luxa skin (which'll be included in the near human pack, which I hope to have done between now and the end of the year.)

And just so you know, these past few days, I haven't been completely dormant, just mostly. Now I have a quiz for you to take before you look at the next picture, its a 1 question quiz with no wrong answers. Have you ever played the game No More Heroes? If yes, did you, like I, enjoy "Bloodberry," the beam katana that was reminiscent of a lightsaber? Well good.

With triangles soaring into just over 3500 (which includes the blade, without its just under 3500), I wouldn't recommend modding it into every NPC, party member, enemy, or even dog in the game.

 

Bloodberry will not be a lightsaber (I don't feel like going through the extra couple steps, bleh sue me) type, but a regular melee type (although with very generous stats, not godlike) that will come in the different blade colors.

 

I'll start texturing it... eventually. >.>

How have you been?

 

Bringing this back, because I'm back to finish up some WIP's that I had laying around that have always bugged me. I've improved a lot, in my opinion. I intend to finish all those WIP's, and improve them, and finally release them. Better late than never, right? Mustafar won't be done, I can assure you that now, for those of you who remember that.

 

I have nothing substantial to show now, as I have to get back in the groove for modding. But first is something that may improve certain models.

 

First up, is the svosh collar fixed model for the Knight/Master robes (this was one of my few exported models from 3+ years ago, and I didn't have the correct texture, so I defaulted it to the standard, unfixed texture so the collar is messed up, but the map is fixed)

Now, I have two things to find out: does it look good enough while running through its animations in game to make modifying the rest of the textures this way worth it, and what you all prefer, the shaded or the default (this one might have been more significantly changed, if this render were to signify anything, if the mapping was different).

 

I think that, after I finish up my lightsabers for VP (which you can "track" the progress of at his thread), the way things will work is that I will work backwards through this thread, tweaking, re-doing and releasing my "quality" ideas. Which would mean, first things first, messing with the texture for that crowbar, and releasing it into the wild. Bloodberry might not make it into the game, if I can't bring the poly count down.

 

I apologize in advance for people who will look back at this thread to get an idea on my upcoming stuff and can't, due to imagehost going down ages ago.
