TKA-001 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 The part that makes that whole ordeal so satisfying is the fact that you help somebody by blowing their ςΠιτ up.
Chevron 7 locke Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I like the droid and i kill it because i feel sorry for it. It should find love with another droid...not its crazy owner:D
mattig89ch Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 thats a little sick. @Ctrl Alt Del: Suvam Tam kinda cool. I always visit him twice. at the beginning and the end. the beginning to sell all the useless crap I get from taris, and at the end, to sell anything I don't need (that way I can buy med packs and computer spikes!).
Chevron 7 locke Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Whats so sick about it? HK-47 is in love with slaughtering things. so why can't the dantooine droid find love with another droid?
mattig89ch Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 Woopsie, didn't mean to type sick. that was my bad. I meant to say that is just wrong. Primarily because droids don't have emotions, therefore they can't fall in love with anything. The only reason HK-47 liked what he did, is because Revan made him that way.
Chevron 7 locke Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Droids have emotions! look at T3-M4, the prototype assasian droid on Korriban, and so many others appeared in the years following the events of KOTOR
mattig89ch Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 Hang on. The assassin droid tried to kill you, probably out of some misguided attempt at self preservation. And T3 is like R2, they're just droids. If you loose one, you can always replace it, and you can always give it a good memory wipe if you don't like its personality. The only reason, Luke didn't replace R2 is because he became emotionally attached to it. Emotions are Bio-chemical responses brought upon heightened levels of chemicals in the brain. Droids don't have this, therefore they can't have emotions. Edit: this would be a great poll, can droids have emotions?
TKA-001 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 No, they can't. The closest they can come is simulating them, and they can only simulate them if they are programmed to.
Allronix Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Hands down, Yuthura Ban. She did more to explain the Sith in five minutes than Lucas did in five movies. She even got you to understand the logic behind their apparent madness. She was such a compelling and charismatic character, and I very much wish she could have joined the party or had her story expanded on.
Chevron 7 locke Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 The droid on korriban did have emotions. it grew to love peace, the only reason it attacks you is because you were to noisy and it went after you. I'm such a peace lover, i spare its life every time.
mattig89ch Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 Cheveron, its obvious we're not going to agree here. And this thread is kinda going off track, so whats say we agree to disagree? You know, I still find valid points to her argument of why emotions are tools to be harnessed, in every day life.
Knight Of Honor Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Zelka Forn. One of very few kind hearted people you`ll find on Taris.
