Hidden Beks Base

I always play lightside in KOTOR but just once I wanted to see what was behind the locked doors in the Bek base. Would it be possible to make a mod which opens the doors at the back and lets you explore the area after the swoop race without having to slaughter everyone?

You know, this isn't a bad idea.

 

Perhaps adding a few footlockers though, as there really isn't much beyond those doors than a handfull of footlockers.

 

Have to make it worthwhile after all.

If no one takes this up, I'll do it, as that has bugged me too. I never suspected that you can open those doors as a DS player.

 

Don't expect results soon though. I've got a number of things to clean up first. :)

You're not really missing out on much to be honest, but if you want to explore the Bek base, it might be an idea just to play a DS game and see the other differences that path entails. :)

Its not so much wanting to know whats back there because I've played that bit as DS as wanting to have a new area available during my strictly LS playthrough. So sue me, I'm :angel: lol

Working on it, along with a "stop" in the dialogue for the battle you'd normally have with Gandon. It will essentially make it so you can betray both gangs, even if I don't. (Has more to do with thinking the Vulkars are bloodthirsty idiots than anything).

Thanks for doing this as I didnt think I'd get much of a response, but when will this stop you're talking about happen and what is it?

The "stop" is to precent you from killing Gandon. I want it to fire on different things, depending on if you killed Brejik, or who you had in the party.

 

Hey, even playing DS, I never sided with the vulkars - Brejik was too much of an idiot, and the Beks would at least keep a semblance of order. And "order" was what DS!Revan (at least, by Kreia's assessment) was trying to establish.

 

BTW. I've got the doors edited, I'm just working out the bugs in the dialogue with Gandon, so that you can explore around and maybe get a few items without having to kill the guy.
