Christos K Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Could Someone make a zombie variant for BattleFront 2? I always thought it would be fun to have with the amount of bots that can we used. The zombies can be versions of the Wampas that die in a few hits yet move faster and kill you in one hit?
jawathehutt Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Either make it yourself or give up on the idea. The modders and mappers have their own projects to do. "I dont know how" is not a valid excuse, the mod tools come with enough documentation to create a book out of them
Christos K Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Perhaps I will try to make it myself. Other than that I was only suggesting it. When ever I ask for a mod I never expect someone to do it. But there are some people that might agree with you and think its a good idea. The closest I ever came to modding was UTI and UTC files in KotoR
Bokken Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Most modders are sequestered in their own projects. Gametoast is very supportive, so I'd go for the make it yourself; it'd just be a (very) simple reskinning project.
Christos K Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 Only reskining? Wouldnt this involve making a whole new game mode that sends all players that die on team 1 to team 2 and making the AI's "goal" the remaining players alive?
Bokken Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Um...you could make it so that there are only enough reinforcements for each player to have one life, and there are no AI on the human players' team. But aside from "a zombie variant," you're going to have to be more specific.
Christos K Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 Well I meant zombie variant as in the casual zombie game mod. 1 AI or the PLayer starts the game as a mutant/zombie all other players are survivors they have to hold off against the Mutant/zombie if they are killed by it they become a zombie and have to kill the remaining survivors.
Bokken Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 That would require a slightly more advanced script, but still relatively easy. There might already be one.
vegati Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I'll try making it. In fact, I've already started. Thanks for the idea!
