Lol. No, but seriously. Someone told about a program that stops any programs you don't need to free up some memory for playing games, I'm trying to find that program or something like it because I can't remember the one I was told about...

I'm not quite sure why you want to do this. As long as you have enough RAM for the game files, your OS will page stuff from RAM onto Disk leaving you with the space you need in RAM. Closing down running programs will help free up CPU resources though, and you can see how much CPU and RAM each one is using via the task manager as niner said.
