Wrong guide?

Just like the title says, i think i got the wrong guide OR the wrong game.

 

I have the "Star Wars Galaxies, The Total Experience" disk AND game. But i must have the wrong vesion. Theres nothing about skill trees and elite professions like it says in the guide. Then again, the guide could just be really old. Please set me straight.

it's an old guide. since then there have been multiple "upgrades" to the game.

New Gaming Experience. Got rid of the 31 professions and brought it down to 9 "Iconic" professions, and made Jedi a starter prof. It is a completely different game and should be judged as such. If you compare the complexity of the NGE to the original, the NGE fails. But that is not to say that the current game is useless. Much more content, and things like collections and a few new crafting items.

Well that one update got rid of 15 different professions I wanted to try. Which file do you think would contain the above update?

Unfortunately unless you want to play the EMU, there is no way to undo that.

Bio- Engineer, rifleman, scout, pikeman, doctor, shipwright, droid engineer and especially architect. T~T By the way, whats the EMU?

EMU= Emulator, it is Player created server that has the game at pre-Combat Upgrade setting I believe.

Never mind, disregard the above. So this is basically the version of the game where all the skills in the guide are achievable?
