You don't need to edit baseitems.2da very much.. I'll tell you the most important functions:

 

  • standard models (how they look)
  • range (how far blasters shot)
  • ammunitiontype (what the blaster does shot with....my favorite thing....)
  • equipable slots (where you can equip them)
  • wielding of the weapon (one hand, like a riffle...)
  • droid or human (flamethrowers etc. are 2, droid/swords and masks etc. are 1, human/ blasters, grenades are 0, both)

 

Note: These are noth the functions' names, these are what they do.

@ Malxados : The first one you linked was the one I was referring to. should have added that to my first post. -pokes through other tutorials- Or... something like this one by Redhawke.

 

@ R2 : I'm trying to make something like Chainz Darksword mod. I know just a straight up saber setting to the UTI won't work, so I'll need to make a new row to tell the bugger how to act. thus my walk through request.
