s-island Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 In 1991 Meldac Corporation in Japan released a couple of CDs with music from several of LEC's early games: LOOM and Lucasfilm Games. I'm curious of their contents and I was wondering if anyone here knows what's on them or even own a copy?
Scapetti Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 I would be highly surprised if anyone had the answer to your question. Try not to let it trouble you, there are probably far better recordings out there
Laserschwert Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 The Loom-one seems to be basically a live recording of the used Tchaikovsky pieces... maybe those were originally unrelated to the game, and then just released as a Loom-themed compilation?
elTee Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 A couple of dudes over at The Museum have those CDs - they should be able to help you out.
Scapetti Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 I stand corrected, people can help you here I am highly surprised! XD
s-island Posted July 4, 2009 Author Posted July 4, 2009 The museum guys probably still have them sealed up.
s-island Posted July 4, 2009 Author Posted July 4, 2009 Ok, my real motivation for asking is that I hope someone would be willing to supply rips for my site: Soundtrack Island. These CDs are very rare and it's unlikely everyone who'd like to hear them would be able to procure a copy. This way everyone could enjoy them and the CDs would still be worth a lot in collector communities.
