newbiemodder Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 Working on my Korriban expansion mod and experiencing an odd occurrence. On one of my bad guys am using Kha's hood mod, with his permission of course. However, when testing the module I am working on, the hood disappears from the baddie whenever I warp in with party members. If I warp in from the same saved game w/o party members, the hood is on. Any thoughts on this no matter how mundane or simple would be appreciated. Also, when the baddie is killed the hood does show up in his inventory and the hood is then able to be equipped by the pc. Edit: Also it is not just the kha mask but any headgear will not appear on the npc when party members are present. Also, not npc template b/c no headgear appears on other npc's either. very strange Edit: I found an old thread by Silveredge which he had the same problem....solved by scripting the npc and equipping him at the same time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Silveredge9 Posted April 13, 2010 Share Posted April 13, 2010 It's some kind of weird bug in the engine I think. I never could find a solution, and just created a cheap work around. It's been a few years, but if I remember correctly I removed the mask from the .utc and then spawned and equipped it instead using the area's onenter script. Though you will have to add your own IF thingamabob to stop the mask spawning on the npc more than once. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
