bergqvistjl
Hi guys, did the enhanced (VGA) version of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade adventure game (or even the EGA version) have MT-32 music, like Monkey Island, and all the rest?, i.e. so if you played it through an MT-32 it would sound better than the sound-blaster sounds? Also if that is the case, can someone post a comparison between that and the FM-Towns music? or was the FM-TOWNS music just the MT-32 music recorded as CD-Audio, like in the Monkey Island 1 CD-ROM re-issues? sinus
No, the FM-Towns version was played by a real if small orchestra. Laserschwert found out that the music was also used in a Disneyland attraction or something. And the SoMI CD audio soundtrack was not recorded from a MT-32. It's synthesized music, but not from a MT-32. And of course there are some pieces added in that version which weren't available previously as MIDI pieces... bergqvistjl
OK, what about the PC VGA Version of the last crusade?
MusicallyInspired
No. Adlib only. Never made it to MT-32. Loom and SMI were the first ones to get MT-32 support. Sadly.
