Sam & Max in Fable 3 (sort of)

Found this video of a walkthrough for Fable 3 for one of the side missions you can play and the 2 ghosts you meet in the mission are called Sam & Max (reference perhaps???)

Man, when did they start regiolocking gameplay-videos. That's just stupid.

 

I'm not a fan of Fable, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually intended as a reference. I remember the first game having a lot of stuff like that.

Sam and Max in the Fable series are much more bumbling than the Freelance Police. I'm guessing that the names themselves are a reference, though.
