High quality movies and music not working

After installing the high quality movies and music patch, I still get to see these low resolution clips ingame. However when I manually open a .bik file in VLC and call up the media information tab, it states a resolution of 1600x1200. Why don't the clips show up at this resolution then?

I wonder what your in-game settings for resolution are as well as what your .ini settings show.

 

You could post your .ini, without the keymapping, and that might help me understand your issue.

Quite a few of those movies weren't re-shot in high-res; they were just up-scaled to 1600x1200, which is why they still look so crappy.
