Okay, I'm here for a quick update.

 

Sadly I'm still having trouble with the hex editing of the areas so can't show my new reskin of the area Commoner Ground. (That means I haven't put the reskins in yet. Please don't comment that it looks the same as it normally is in game.)

 

Progress so far:

Dialog: 30%

Quests: 5%

Journal entries:0%

Story:95%

Placeables:30%

Reskins of modules: ... 0%

New items: 20%

I have a question about that, he IS a droid right?why does he have a human model? Or do you still have to change his model to a droid?

 

This looks like a very good mod.

I might be able to help you with voice acting, but probably in a couple of days.

I see that, but he is speaking like a droid. Is he sopposed to be some kind bionic cyborg or something?

 

The person shown in the screenshot is the player character. The line of dialogue at the top is spoken by the droid, who we don't see in the screenshot, and is not spoken by the player character.

 

The player character's available dialog choices don't sound like droid ones.

First, the black charcter in commoner clothing was not the charcter speaking those lines.

Second, Yes he is a droid. (Sorry about not showing this droid, fraps took the pic at the wrong moment, and I didn't notice.) (The actuall model is a sensor ball like Bao-Dur's)

Third, Why the player has the dialog option *poke* is xxRevanxx insisted to include some humor in this mod and he wrote that dialog.

(I hope this doesn't count as double posting.)

 

Could anyone happen to tell me where I can find the 502ond.mdl file in kotor tool?

Trying to reskin it and the tutorial I'm using says I need that file but I can't seem to find it. I probally just overlooked it but any advice would be appreciated.

 

 

Edit: Found them... There are 3 different files a, b, and d. Does anyone know which i'm supposed to edit? Also anyone know why there isn't a c, it doesn't matter i'm just curious?

The thing is that inserting the line *poke* into the dialog neither relevant nor humourous. If you're going to have funny responses, they need to be at least partially relevant to the dialog or else they detract from the story.

I understand what your talking about, I am going to do some editing and hopefully this idea will work a bit better. Although xxrevanxx will probally complain but I can deal with him. Could I borrow some duct tape from anyone? :devsmoke::lol:

Well I kinda already anwsered this question twice. So could people stop asking this, because it's starting to get annoying? The anwser is yes, I plan for most if not all to be voiced. Remember to read other people's posts they might have already asked your question. (Now, I sound like a teacher. :lol:)
