Capibara
I like them all but that bright red robe its...idk maybe a little "too" bright? Maybe its just me..All the rest look really good. Yep, was trying for a brighter type, but i agree that maybe the red needs to be toned down. redrob41
I actually think that the LS red looks fine as it is. If you make it darker, it's just going to look like another black robe. If all robes end up nearly black (like your DS blue & red), then it defeats the purpose of trying to have more variety IMO. The same goes for your three dark Jedi. I have to take your word for it that they're different colours, because they're so dark I can't actually see any difference (besides the brightness of the belt buckles). Personnally, I try to avoid making things so black that they lose all highlights and shadows; it tends to make things look flat and lifeless, instead of three dimensional. I think that the design elements and patterns are working well; they certainly add visual interest to each robe. I'd suggest for the LS red that you make the shoulder pads the same black and white as the chest. That way, it will look more like an armoured vest. Warlord664
I wasn't saying for him to make them black I just think there a little too bright and need to be tinted a little darker but yeah I guess I see what your saying.
Capibara
Thanks for the input. I actually think that the LS red looks fine as it is. The same goes for your three dark Jedi. Personnally, I try to avoid making things so black that they lose all highlights and shadows; it tends to make things look flat and lifeless, instead of three dimensional. I think it depends on the properties of the monitor (or is it video card? not sure) used to see the images, you see, i do all that stuff on a laptop (which otherwise doesn't look overly bright) and there, it looks just the right way, to put an example, the blue robe above is just as or even less dark than Drewton's Malak and the DS red is just as dark as this one for instance, and while both of those look, as intended, dark in-game, all their details are visible. However, when i transfer the screenshots to this other pc in which i upload the images, it does indeed look much, much darker... I think that the design elements and patterns are working well; they certainly add visual interest to each robe. I'd suggest for the LS red that you make the shoulder pads the same black and white as the chest. That way, it will look more like an armoured vest. So dark it looks to you that the armored parts is black and white and not white with pattern?! heh. Joking aside, it's not possible to do it (have armored shoulder pads for that one) unless i also wanted to have it on the robe areas just below the neck, and that wouldn't look too great... the best that can be done there is give it a border detail following the edges like i did for the brown, blue and dark red ones. Dak Drexl
I think the Saul skin is a really nice, subtle improvement. Nice job
LDR
My only complaint about Saul is that the texture looks a bit flat. The rest of the textures, are still the same, great quality I expect from you. Keep up the sexy skins!
Capibara
Thanks for the comments. My only complaint about Saul is that the texture looks a bit flat(...) Flat, how come? it has new textures on all the uniform areas (except the gray parts and gold details) as well as the hands. This re-skin is not a highly detailed edit, it is just 'subtle' as Dak Drexl above said, maybe it looks too dark for you? (...)Keep up the sexy skins! Heh, thanks again, and sure, i'll keep them coming, i have a lot of re-skins already made (armors, robes, etc) but i'm too lazy to upload them; most are 1024x1024 so they take longer to upload... LDR
I take it back on what I said about the flat black texture on the uniform. That was because my Droid X's screen (my phone that I used in Vermont, durr) was darker than my computer screen here. So please disregard what I said about the flat textures, blame my phone. Ferc Kast
Flat, how come? it has new textures on all the uniform areas (except the gray parts and gold details) as well as the hands. This re-skin is not a highly detailed edit, it is just 'subtle' as Dak Drexl above said, maybe it looks too dark for you? Evidently, it was too dark for me to notice that it wasn't flat until I opened the texture in GIMP at 400% when I finally saw the details. The other skins in this thread, however, seem to be good quality.
Capibara
(...)The other skins in this thread, however, seem to be good quality. Meaning the Saul skin isn't? heh, it's all on the eye (or rather, screen) of the beholder. But, yes, so far it seems that a few people have a screen a few degrees darker than mine... maybe i'll make a 'less dark' version of the next 'darker' re-skin too. LDR
I would suggest a darker gray color, one just enough for you to see the folds in his uniform.

LDR
The second armor, Republic armor, and the Sith armor stand out - in the good way! My only suggestion is to add a sith logo onto the armor.
Capibara
Thanks for the comments. Oh my god you are good at armors. Seriously, I just... wow. This mod is going into my override so hard. Thanks. I doubt those re-skins will be released as a mod though, most likely i'll be posting individual download links for each like i've been doing in this thread so far (uploading them all as a package would take me forever). Since i didn't make most of these as replacements i'll probably add files for properties and in-game location to the upload. The second armor, Republic armor, and the Sith armor stand out - in the good way! My only suggestion is to add a sith logo onto the armor. Thanks. About the logo, i'm not such a big fan of logos, i tried to get the 'design' as close to the basic sith trooper apperance as 'possible' without just copying the stuff, and i thought it turned out recognizable as such, but maybe i see it that way because it was what i was aiming for? heh. Here's a version of it that has some darker areas (and maybe closer to the sith trooper for it?) and a more colorful red one (since most seemed to like the red one above ): Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) ---
