Have you tried simply renaming them to .mp3?

 

Make a copy of the file, so you don't have to reinstall your game, and rename it... maybe do it in a newly made folder so you have a little bit of a sandbox. Rename it and play it with WMP or whatever you like. Not sure, but I seem to recall that this works in some cases.

I just tried this. the file is still a '.wav' and it hasnt helped at all. Still the same :/

Is that the only program I can use...?

There are older versions that are freeware and will work just with the game's audio files.

How do I get Miles Sound Tool working? I am trying to play the StreamVoice files from KotOR II: TSL, but they do not work in anything, not sure how to make them work, because opening them in Miles makes it crash...

 

Edit: I am running Windows 7 Home Edition on my Laptop.

You might want to tell them what operating system you're using.
