Christos K
...to edit the bonuses you receive when you are either 100% aligned to the Light Side or 100% aligned to the Dark Side. I am guessing it's a .2da file but I wouldn't be surprised if it was hardcoded like the level cap is.
Istorian
Yes, I'm pretty sure the bonuses are hardcoded.

Christos K
That's too bad. Maybe some day we will be "allowed" to change the hardcoded things.

Kl0kw3rk
They won't release the source code when they have an MMORPG. Source code only gets released when a company folds. E.g. Sir-Tech and JA2.
Istorian
Then I hope the source code never gets released. I am one of the lunatics that think someday we will see a KotOR III..

It's called hex editing, but good luck with getting anything signifcant accomplished :/
Kl0kw3rk
The thing is, would LucasArts, BioWare AND Obsidian have to go under in order for us get that though? Or just the developers? LucasArts probably only controls Star Wars themes. The source that we have access to is most of what is worth tinkering with. There are just a few pieces missing here and there. There's no logic to which script source was included. It's kinda crazy how they kept just converting some old game (NWN?) into new games. Half the crap in these files has nothing to do with KOTOR. K3 will also never happen due to SWTOR. An MMORPG (a.k.a. time waster) signals the end of the line for any theme. That said, I'll probably never even look at SWTOR based on the fact that I hate wasting time.
Christos K
I hate SWToR... I only ever wanted my KotOR 3 and my Battlefront 3 and even my Republic Commando 2.... BUT LucasArts just HATES making money it looks like as those were their games with the most potential.
