I installed it a couple days ago, no problems for me.

I don't know what the problem is. Any ideas of what I could do to fix this? And has anyone else tried donwloading this thing today?

 

Are you sure you're using the serial number that belongs to the version of whatever operating system your installing to? (i.e., you're not using the Mac serial number for the Windows install)

Yes, I made sure I was using the right serial number. This is what i'm using for the windows version of PS CS2. (1045-1412-5685-1654-6343-1431) you can compare it to the site if you want. Do you think I should try typeing it in manuely insted of just copy/paste the serial number?

well, i would download the entire suite any way because who knows how long it well be up for. so, yes, try that.
