Does Lucasarts know about the Tank rush?

You could use a blaster cannon to defeat the evil tanks.

The main function of blaster cannons was described as 'blasting through walls and other fortifications'. I think that, like in AOK, they'll be less effective against units.

 

What about mines ? They might be available...

I doubt it. Mines just don't sound like SW. AoK doesn't have anything like it so I seriously doubt it.

AOK doesn't have shields or air-combat as well..

there's no reason why they couldn't have done it. and in the CCG-deck i have, there's a card about some kind of mine against mechs..

That is a card game. But in the card game they have mines against both mechs and troops.

..so mines DO belong in the SW-universe according to the official card game. Just because we didn't see it in movies, doesn't mean it won't be here.. there's lots of units in the game like that.

 

Mines or maybe infantry with thermal detonators sound like a good counter to tanks.

You know now that I think about it there were Heavy Troopers with those HUGE blasters or rocket launchers...whatever. I wonder if they are anti-tank.

The bazooka guys seem more like Ant-air to me, but they could be effective against mechs too, or they could be anti-mech only. I don't know, why don't you ask Mr. Fixit sometime?
