jjb75 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 So long story short I won this laptop in a raffle and its specs are as follows, Brand: ASUS Model: G750JM CPU: Intel i7 quad core 4710HQ 2.5Ghz GPU: NVidia gtx 860m 2gb of dedicated ram (DDR5) RAM: 8g DDR3 max 32gb HDD: 1tb 5400 rpm So my question is how good will this be with modern games like bf4, etc.?

My friend, you must be the luckiest guy in the world... Long story short, that PC is a frickin' killer. It will play modern games such as Rivals, GTA 5, Watchdogs and Battlefront 4 like a charm. So no worries:thmbup1:

igyman Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Yup, it's a pretty good machine, the HDD being the weakest element simply because its speed not being at least 7200 rpm. Anyway, you probably shouldn't have many issues playing modern games on that PC and any that you do have will stem from poor game optimization for laptops, rather than your own hardware.
