deathdisco
Any thoughts on Disney not using Lucas' treatment for the sequel trilogy? Say what you want about George's writing but his ideas are sound.

deathdisco
Midichlorians. Jar-Jar. The Yoda-Sidious duel. "I hate sand." Dipiction of Coruscant, any scene with Ian McDiarmid, Qui Gon, Obi Wan, Darth Maul, Dooku, Grievous. Think of what a different character Jar Jar could of been if someone else was writing his dialog. deathdisco
Yes. Fan fiction on the silver screen... That's how I'm leaning. It's like we're not getting the true sequel trilogy. I'm sure ill still enjoy it but it doesn't feel right.

Yeah, if this was a spin-off, I wouldn't give it much thought. But it's Episode VII, supposedly a continuation of Lucas' story. If they're not following his version, they might as well not call it Episode VII.
Lynk Former
I don't care. Just as long as the sequel trilogy movies are enjoyable and well made movies, then I'll enjoy them. If they turn out to be not enjoyable and well made movies, then it's not because of anything to do with the lore/canon/whatever, it's because they were just badly made movies. We'll see how it all turns out, I guess... just gotta wait.
